Glion University Workshop: Designing the Future of Sustainable Luxury

Bringing sustainability to the heart of the future of luxury and hospitality. From workshop to impact

When Glion University asked us to design a workshop for its students, the challenge was clear: to immerse a new generation of leaders in sustainability, not in an abstract way, but through concrete experiences and real case studies.

Glion is one of the world’s most prestigious institutions for hospitality and luxury management, with bright, curious students who will be the decision-makers of tomorrow. For them, sustainability is not just an academic subject: it is the key to rethinking luxury and hospitality in the years to come.

The challenge Glion Uiversity faced

Make sustainability something students live and practice, not just a subject in textbooks.

Bring into Glion’s classrooms authoritative voices from the sector: experts in luxury, innovation, and yachting, academics, and business leaders.

Connect research and industry insights with the practical challenges facing luxury and hospitality brands.

Engage more than 60 students in practical sessions, use cases, and interactive co-design of the future of sustainable luxury.

Innovamey brought the best of our Spark (transformative experiences) and WayS (sustainability strategies) services into an academic context

From Altagamma reports to BCG data, through to ESG trends rewriting the rules of the market.

Alongside us, leaders such as Paolo Gamba (President of Assonautica Lombardia) and senior BCG and luxury industry experts shared real cases and sector visions.

Students worked in teams to design the future of sustainable luxury, through 2030 scenarios, net positive luxury, and design thinking exercises.

Fashion, hospitality, yachting, supercars, and jewelry became living case studies, where luxury meets sustainability through tangible examples and emerging innovations.
