Building a sustainable Rider platform in Senegal with Yobé

From idea to a sustainable mobility ecosystem in West Africa

Behind every moto-taxi there is not just a job, but a possible future for entire families and communities.
What may seem like a simple ride is, in fact, a gateway to dignity, independence, and growth.

With Yobé, we built a model that doesn’t just innovate the last-mile mobility sector — it transforms it.
By combining technology, training, and inclusion, we empower the people who drive it: offering more safety, more opportunities, and more future.
A local solution that becomes a global lesson in how innovation can truly serve people.

The challenge Yobé faced

In Senegal, the mobility and delivery market is dominated by 270,000 independent moto-taxis. An invisible workforce, trapped in informality:

Yobé was born with a vision: to organize, protect and give dignity to those who work on two wheels, transforming a fragile sector into a sustainable ecosystem.

A platform to make a difference

Launching a startup is difficult everywhere, even more so in Africa: fragmented expertise, scarce resources, difficulty in accessing capital, complex regulatory context.
Many founders end up having a thousand different providers: one for the business plan, one for the brand, one for technology. Innovamey, with the Startup Studio, integrates everything under one roof.

One single partner to:

For Yobé, integration was the key: less dispersion, more speed, more credibility. Together, we proved what a Startup Studio really means — end-to-end co-creation, from idea to market. Not just launching an idea, but building a company that inspires, scales, and changes systems — showing that sustainability is not a slogan, but a method.
